Who am I?

Hi I’m Robin, and I’m your personal Independent Travel Planner.

When planning a family vacation or celebrating a special occasion through travel everyone wants the best experience possible, and I’m ready to help you! I’ve achieved my Accredited Cruise Counselor Certification with CLIA so I can actually say that I’m a cruise expert. I have also received the distinguished Certified Travel Associate certification from The Travel Institute.

With the knowledge gained by my extensive travel experience and professional customer service background, I’m excited and ready to help you plan new adventures. 

 

My Experience & Expertise: 

Exceeding your customer service expectations is my primary goal. Having worked for Disney for 2.5 years, I know how to make your vacation magic. 

I’ve visited 25 countries (Caribbean, Europe, Asia), 31 states, have personally been on 26 river and ocean cruises (so far), visited Disney World, Disneyland and Disneyland Paris multiple times, and I’m more than happy to share my travel experiences and knowledge with you to make your vacation the best it can be.

 

My Accreditations:

I have been awarded the following distinguished certifications:

• CLIA’s (Cruise Lines International Association) ACC Certification (Accredited Cruise Counselor) 
• CTA Certification (Certified Travel Associate)
• College of Disney Knowledge (Yearly Certification, 2013 – 2019)

And that’s just the start – as a lifelong learner I continue to learn more about the travel industry every day.

 

Do people even use Travel Agents anymore? Why should I use one?

First, yes we do still exist! Traditionally you might picture a Travel Agent sitting behind a desk at a mall Agency or kiosk, but today’s travel agent’s primarily exist remotely online. 

There are a few reasons you might consider using a Travel Agent instead of booking travel plans yourself:

• No cost to you – My services are paid by the supplier (package provider, hotel, cruise line, etc.), so the prices I can get for you are the same or sometimes even better than prices you can find on your own.
• Quality Guarantee – The internet is a daunting place! How can you be 100% certain that the hotel you’re booking through Travelocity is as beautiful and conveniently located as their marketing photos make it look?
• Travel prices frequently change – I’m constantly on top of specials that suppliers are running and will always try to secure you the best price. Another perk of using a Travel Agent – sometimes when the lowest price is no longer available I’m also able to assist with providing things like Cruise Ship On Board Credit or potential upgrades instead. 
• Ease of Booking – I provide assistance with every step of the booking process. My goal is to take care of all your little details, leaving you free to relax and enjoy your trip!
• Customer Service – All day, every day. My phone is set to ring 24 hours a day while my clients are traveling so that I can assist with anything you might need. Your happiness, satisfaction, and safety are my top priority
